In this video, I’m going to give you an overview of how iasset.com’s sales campaigns can drive your strategy of managing through the land, invest, protect and surrender (or LIPS as we call it) product lifecycle stages.
No matter what role you play in the channel – vendor, distributor or reseller/VAR – using iasset.com’s channel campaigns will enable you to demonstrate and deliver more value to your partners and customers, leaving no sales opportunity unexplored through your customer and product lifecycle journey.
At a high level, iasset.com’s channel campaigns builds on the capture of installed assets from your existing data from whatever tools you use today – ERP, CRM, service management tools, data warehouse or excel spreadsheets even.Using these installed assets – which create a view into everything you’ve previously sold or supported down to the line level products & services – you can then begin the journey to monetize that data, whether by way of up-sell, cross-sell, refresh, EOL or other campaign type.
The iasset.com campaign module comprises an easy-to-use yet powerful wizard, where the first step is to set up targeted notifications that can be configured and localized to meet the target audience – taking into account the type of campaign and the geography in which the campaign will be run.
After configuring notifications, users can then choose products & services to promote as part of the campaign, including configuring pricing – whether fixed or from an existing pricing source within the platform. These products will form the basis of priced up “unsolicited proposals” that will be sent to selected customers once the campaign runs.
To identify those target customers, users can configure rules – for instance search for a specific service or product, for a hardware EOL date or within a specific region - which when run automatically mine the installed assets to find those customers who meet the criteria of the rules – effectively building a real time list of customers to whom campaign opportunities together with configured and priced quotes can be sent by the iasset.com platform.
Once the campaign runs – which could be the result of a single sales or marketing manager setting up and activating the campaign –
the platform will send the notifications and priced up proposals to the targeted customer contacts, where these could feasibly run into the hundreds, if not thousands of automated proposals, all ready to order and all driving automated monetization of the installed asset data.
Alternatively the campaigns can be configured to dynamically add campaign based options onto renewal quotes for example, to promote upgrades or cross-sells at the time of renewing expiring contract items.
Any rep or manager can also manage their pipeline of campaign opportunities, each with a priced-up quote beneath them with the specified campaign product or service – whether the up-sell, cross-sell, refresh or any other type of campaign.
Once the quotes are ordered, iasset.com passes order details into an ERP or finance system for booking and invoicing, but the platform will also update the installed assets based on the conversion to order of the campaign opportunities, providing further valuable insight into your customer base throughout the product lifecycle journey.
